Osteopathy

OsteopathyOsteopathy is a safe and natural approach to healthcare and has been successfully treating aches and pains for 130 years. Osteopathy is recognised by the British Medical Association and many patients are now referred directly by their GPs. Every Osteopath must be registered with The General Osteopathic Council. As a patient of the All Health Clinic, Bedford you have the same safeguards as when you consult your doctor or dentist.

Osteopathy is about diagnosing and treating the cause of your pain as well as treating your symptoms. Our aim is to prevent things from ever happening again. Osteopathy is not just about backs! We treat sports injuries, repetitive strain, all joint, nerve and muscle pain, ligament strains, whiplash, sciatica and  trapped nerves. We have a specialist foot clinic for hard to treat conditions such as plantar fasciitis  Please phone us on 01234 294954 if you want to discuss your problems and whether osteopathy may be right for you.

Many people live with pain or discomfort unnecessarily. Pain is nature’s way of telling you something is wrong and if untreated, may lead to long term chronic conditions and early arthritis. You can be pain free. Through posture, repetitive strain or accidents everyone has areas of their bodies that are subject to more stresses and strains.

Treatment is gentle and involves non-invasive stretching and manipulation of your muscles and joints. We can use acupuncture, shockwave therapy, ultrasound or laser. Not everyone responds to the same treatment so each treatment is tailored to your individual needs.

Please feel free to speak to Wendy Russell-Rayner (Registered Osteopath) if you wish further information or advice about your pain or discomfort. Ours is a very friendly practice and all our patients are viewed as individuals. You do not need a referral from your GP.
