Ordering a test

This gold standard test is the most advanced stool test available. It measures digestion of fats, proteins and carbohydrates. It examines pancreas and bile function and includes testing for bacteria, fungi and parasites. It includes the Calprotectin test which measures bowel inflammation and indicates possible colon cancer or other disease.

Assesses thyroid function including thyroid gland activity, possible secondary gland involvement, hormone secretion and conversion of T4 hormone to T3. Levels of auto antibodies are measured to determine underlying thyroid auto immunity.
