Medical Testing and Products
We supply confidential laboratory medical testing to help you diagnose your health concerns, or for your peace of mind. We can supply you with most laboratory tests for most medical conditions. We can advise you on what testing may be appropriate for you. If you do not see a medical test here please call us to discuss your requirements.
You are unable to obtain these tests directly from laboratories yourself. UK regulations ensure that medical laboratories only supply medical tests and results to people who are medically qualified and who are able to interpret the findings. We are medically qualified and we will interpret the results for you and supply you with a full report with recommendations where necessary.
We promote tests which are unavailable through the National Health Service or, are significantly more in depth than usually available though your Gp. We enable you to take responsibility for your own medical investigations.
This is a confidential service. You do not need to be referred by your Gp and we will send you the full report personally. It is a matter for you whether you wish to discuss the matter with your Gp. If medical treatment is necessary you will have precise information which should help you get appropriate treatment or specialist referrals more quickly. In most cases you would have more medical information about your condition than your Gp can usually obtain, (if at all) and before your Gp is able to refer you to a NHS specialist.
Some of our tests can be completed in the privacy of your own home. In the case of tests which require blood samples to be taken you may need to see your Gp, practice nurse or a private phlebotomy (blood sample taking) service. They may charge you for this service. If you are close to our clinic, we will take your samples free of charge.

If you are close to our clinic you make a free appointment for us to take your blood samples. We will send your samples to our laboratory for you. If you do not live near to us we will post a test kit to you This contains full instructions for you and everything required for whoever is taking your blood sample. (Whoever takes your sample may require you to pay for this service). You post the samples directly to our laboratory. We send you a full report and liaise with your Gp, if you wish us to do so |
Urine |
Most of the urine tests can be completed in the comfort and privacy of your own home. We post a kit to your home containing all the things you need with full instructions on how to complete the test. You follow the simple instructions and post the samples directly to the laboratory. We send you a full report and liaise with your Gp, if you wish use to do so. |
